Selected students attending the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley will receive $3,000 per year, for four years ($12,000 total). All other selected students attending other institutions will receive $5,000 per year, for four years ($20,000 total).

• Must be Pell-eligible
• Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university in the US for the 2026-2027 academic year
• Be a US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident
• High school graduating seniors only - Cumulative GPA of 2.75, based on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) earned from 9th grade through the first semester/term of 12th grade
• High school students must be graduating seniors in the Rio Grande Valley (Texas), specifically Hidalgo, Cameron, and Starr counties 
• Complete and submit the 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
• The Scholarship is open to students of all races
